All christening's are usually a great family event and this was just that. The event took place on the 27th of January 2018. The venue was All Saint's Church in Speke, Liverpool. The church, built between 1872 and 1875. Designed by John Loughborough Pearson, preceding the Bishop of Chester's concentration of the Church on 21 June 1876.
Attendees included mum, Amy & dad, Kevin, Allan & Chrissie, God Parents, Grand Parents, family & friends.
Emily was a little smiler for the duration of the whole day and clapped during the Christening ceremony itself. She also attempting to copy the Vicar, by trying to get her own hand in to the font. Emily was presented with a "celebratory ballon" & candle and clapped as the congregation sang happy birthday to her.
Following the ceremony, all guests attended a little get together for refreshments. All who came along also had the option to "play" on the bouncy castle including "some" of the adults. Also available amongst the entertainment options was a soft ball play area. Once again, employed by the smaller children including a selection of adults.
