Crowne Plaza Wedding
Kevin and Amy’s Crowne Plaza wedding Liverpool
This was a fantastic day, including the church ceremony at All Saint’s church in Speke, followed by the rest of the day back at their Crowne Plaza Wedding. Despite a shower or two during and just after the ceremony, the weather could not have been better.
Amy was accompanied by her father, Geoff, and Chrissie, Amy’s bridesmaid and sister and how could we forget Emily. Emily, the gorgeous little flower girl and also the Bride and Grooms eighteen month old daughter. Kevin had the pleasure of the company of his best man Paul. The guys arrived at the church early and therefore were able to greet some of the arriving guests.
Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to the Crowne Plaza for the celebrations to begin. Kevin and Amy arrived back at the hotel in their stunning 1930’s Badsworth Landaulette Vintage car, eagerly awaited by the guests.
Wedding Breakfast and Speeches.
The happy couple’s Crowne Plaza Wedding co-ordinator had done a fantastic job, therefore everything was laid out as planned. Consequently, everyone quickly settled down to enjoy the food and drinks followed by the usual speeches.
Kevin had been dreading his speech, however he didn’t show any signs of nerves and came across really well. He described how he met his new wife and also how he proposed to Amy on a weekend away in sunny Barcelona. Finally it was time for the best mans speech which raised a lot of laughs and good humoured fun.
The night time celebrations
Finally it was time for the evening celebrations to begin. Hence, with more guests arriving the festivities were livening up. Following a return to the lounge bar, all attending headed back into the function room due to a quick makeover. The evenings entertainer, Marc Kenny, arrived, and likewise the dance floor installed.
Following the first dance with lots of applause, came some really entertaining antics. Furthermore Kevin and best mans brother, Jay, performed their rendition of “Lets Get Ready to Rumble” to lots of applause.
To summarise, I would like to say thank you to Anthony Dean for helping out with the photography for part of the day.
