St Georges Hall Wedding
I recently had the pleasure of shooting Roma and Habi’s St Georges Hall Wedding in Liverpool.
St George’s Hall, on Lime Street in the centre of the English city of Liverpool. It is a building in Neoclassical style and also contains concert halls and law courts. Recorded in the National Heritage List for England and accordingly designated a Grade I listed building. On the east side of the hall, between it and the railway station, is St George’s Plateau. Adjacent, to the west side are St John’s Gardens. The hall is also included in the William Brown Street conservation area.
Traditional Asian Wedding
In addition to Roma and Habi’s St Georges Hall Wedding, I also took great pleasure in documenting the couples traditional Wedding at their home. Furthermore, delicious food was in abundance for all to enjoy, including myself.
Meanwhile, back at St Georges Hall, Roma and her Father arrived in a beautiful Imperial Viscount landaulette Wedding car. Roma looked stunning in her white wedding dress and in contrast, her Bridesmaids in blue and pink with white bouquets. The Wedding Ceremony itself took place in the Grand Jury Room where family and friends eagerly awaited the arrival of the Bride.
Following a number of family and Bride and Groom portraits, the celebrations could begin. St John’s Gardens to the West of the hall are beautifully manicured gardens and well suited for Bride and Groom photographs. The trees therefore provided welcome shade from the August sun and a welcome break for the newlyweds to relax a little before moving on to the main celebrations.
Moving on, following the Bride and Groom Photographs and short journey we arrived at the Barton Rouge restaurant. Once again, beautiful food was again in abundance.
Finally, after another short journey the Bride and Groom arrived at the Hilton Hotel for the night, adjacent to the beautiful and famous Albert Dock.
